JOHN JORGENSON QUINTET
The John Jorgenson Quintet features guitarist John Jorgenson, a founding member of the Desert Rose Band, the Hellecasters, and six-year member of Elton John's band. At a John Jorgenson Quintet performance, audiences are amazed by John's dazzling guitar work as well as his mastery as a clarinet player and vocalist. WILLY PORTER

Willy Porter often gets lumped into the folk music genre, but that doesn’t begin to do justice to the talented singer-songwriter’s eclectic sound. Treading similar terrain as Elliot Smith, Martin Sexton and even Dave Matthews, his deft guitar work, soulful voice and incisive, detailed lyrics can break your heart one minute and leave a goofy smile plastered on your face the next.

PO' GIRL
Rolling Stone notes, "With enough sultry ambiance to be at home in either cocktail lounge or New Orleans street corner, Po’Girl features simple, polished vocals over a warm jazz-folk accompaniment of guitar, stand-up bass, harmonica, banjo and clarinet. They manage to maintain that traditional and nostalgic sound while breathing fresh life into an old-fashioned genre.”

RICHARD SHINDELL

The Boston Globe writes, "Shindell is a master builder of songs, yet always leading toward the emotional essence of the moment or character he is evoking. As with all master craftsmen, knowing what to leave out is as important to him as what he puts in. Shindell has an uncanny sense of the theater of a song, building his ballads sparely and subtly, set to sweeping graceful melodies."
