Rich Egger's guests are Sue Scott and Nancy Crossman, who are co-founders of the Cornfed Film Fest in Macomb.

The inaugural festival will take place April 13 - 15, 2012. The Western Illinois Museum, 201 S Lafayette St will serve as the Welcome Center where you can find tickets and information.

The theme is A Festival of Firsts. It will feature student films, directorial debuts, and many other types of "firsts."

"We're showing one of the first films that was shown in Macomb. His Majesty, the American is a 1919 silent film with Douglas Fairbanks," said Scott.

Rich Egger speaks with representatives from the Galesburg Civic Art Center, the West Central Illinois Arts Center in Macomb, and the Buchanan Center for the Arts in Monmouth.

Director Heather Norman said two exhibits will open Friday, February 3.  The main gallery will feature works by photographer Rich Ankeny and the painter Marianne Vick.  The new Blick Gallery will showcase works by Jared Lacy.
