No 3rd Term for Hamilton Mayor
By Jason Parrott
Hamilton Mayor Steve Woodruff will not be seeking a third term in office.
He told the city council, earlier this week, that he wanted to be home more to be a dad and a husband.
2012 has been a trying year for Woodruff as a building housing two of his businesses was damaged by a fire in January that also claimed the life of a young child.
It took months to clean up the neighboring properties, affecting the safety and health conditions in the 900 block of Broadway.
So far, two men have taken out nominating petitions to replace Woodruff: Steve Lowman and former Hamilton Mayor Dave Cornelius.
