Gifts to our endowment support Tri States Public Radio's service to the community
The station’s endowment funds are essential to both the present and future of local programming and service projects. Your gift would become part of our existing endowment fund and will generate income each year to provide for the station’s on-air, on-line, and community-based services.
The endowment stabilizes funding so that variations at the state and national levels do not affect the quality of local service. Endowment gifts help keep Tri States Public Radio responsive to our local region. This fund is managed as part of Western Illinois University’s endowment holdings and supports general station operations.
Our endowment is also about independence - the independence to tell our stories, to capture our voices, to connect with each other across the tri state region. Independence is only possible with secure funding free from the influence of funding based on the political or economic environment.
Types of Gifts The station will accept gifts of cash, stock, and bequests. Gift vehicles such as beneficiary status in trusts or life insurance policies are also gratefully welcomed. Please ask for more information on a particular asset you are interested in donating to the station.
For more information on sustaining the station through endowment gifts, call or e-mail the station and ask for Sharon Faust, Director of Development sk-faust@wiu.edu.
