Ashley Dierks

Ashley is a Student Assistant for Tri States Audio Information Services. She assists the volunteers that come into the studio, helps set up the programs for them to record, oversees the schedule and edits AIS programs for broadcast. She is also reads from the local and national newspapers and magazines for a set amount of time each day. Ashley grew up in the Chicago suburbs and is majoring in psychology with a minor in health services management. She says she has always been interested in broadcasting. Ashley attended Lincoln Land Community College, and then decided to go to Western Illinois University. For future plans she hopes to go on a study abroad program through the University of Virginia with the program called Semester at Sea and then enroll in graduate school. Previously Ashley worked in the audio and production room for her church and regularly transcribed sermons for the deaf. Ashley is currently very involved in her sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma.
