The raise will go into effect for the city’s next fiscal year, which begins May 1.</p><p></p><p>Approval was granted on a vote of 5-to-2. Alderman At Large Don Wynn and Fifth Ward Alderman Dave Dorsett were opposed. Fourth Ward Alderman Thomas Koch and Seventh Ward Alderman Clay Hinderliter were absent from the meeting.</p><p>Wynn feels the timing is not right.</p> Fri, 05 Apr 2013 15:56:12 +0000 Rich Egger 31584 at http://tristatesradio.com Pay Raise for Macomb City Attorney Changes Coming to Macomb's Spring Lake Park http://tristatesradio.com/post/changes-coming-macombs-spring-lake-park <p>The city plans to lay out 100 new camp sites to the south and west of the existing campgrounds at Spring Lake Park.<br /><br />City Administrator Dean Torreson told aldermen the development can be done in stages.<br /><br />&ldquo;Maybe 20 at a time or something like that, 25 at a time as we can afford it and as the market can absorb it,&rdquo; Torreson said.<br /><br />A city memo said once the project is completed, the city will rework some existing sites.
